Fore Street is a unique new-build development of fifteen residential units for Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association on a site within an existing Victorian tenement perimeter block. The site is located in Scotstoun (Glasgow) and was previously occupied by a large derelict building. 

Our strategy includes eight flats; four cottage flats and three detached houses for affordable rent. The properties are accessed via a pend within a five-storey block of flats on Fore Street.

The blocks within our strategy are arranged to maximise capacity and amenity space within the site boundary, while ensuring sufficient privacy between all occupants of the project and the existing residents of the tenement perimeter. 

Fore Street is fully compliant with Housing for Varying Needs and achieves an EcoHomes ‘Very Good’ rating.
