Hypostyle provided architectural services to Spirit Aerosystems (Europe) for the design of their new ‘Aerospace Innovation Centre’ in Prestwick. Within this new facility, Spirit Aerosystems will focus on the technology and expertise required to develop aircraft wings that will be aerodynamically efficient, reduce fuel consumption and cost effective to manufacture and assemble.

Our design includes two flexible 25,000sqft production workshops, office accommodation and staff training rooms, meeting rooms, testing rooms and an open plan office with space for 200 workstations. The Aerospace Innovation Centre was completed in January 2021 and was the third collaboration between Hypostyle and Spirit Aerosystems (Europe) at this site.
