Hypostyle acted as lead consultant to coordinate a feasibility study to evaluate the viability of adapting the existing building used by the Glasgow Lodging House Mission, to enable wheelchair access throughout the ground and first floors and installing new windows throughout the building.

The Lodging House Mission is a Glasgow based charity dedicated to providing care and support to the homeless, socially excluded individuals and the vulnerable. This is achieved by providing a safe environment with access to chaplaincy, counselling, educational facilities, food, internet, laundry facilities, recreational activities, showers and telephones.  

The proposals offered by Hypostyle were accepted and refurbishment works to the existing building were completed in 2021.
