Royal Terrace & Grosvenor Crescent Baluster Replacement

Throughout Edinburgh a common ‘out of sight’ problem is balusters sitting at roof/attic level of properties supporting large and heavy copes. Often over time these balusters can sheer and fail in certain areas, the problem being that they are significantly heavy and high up so any defect/stone fall or collapse could be fatal for a passer by. It is imperative that these balusters are not only repaired appropriately, but are secured in place with appropriate ties to prevent any falls.

At Grosvenor Crescent & Royal Terrace a number of balusters were replaced, and the remaining existing balusters were secured in place.
